Bikini Girl

Her first bathing suit, had to tie it up a little in the back to make it fit.

She loves taking baths and loves being outside.

Now she's enjoying them both at once.

Next time we found a really cute bikini, it's for 3-6 months, but I think she'll fit in it for a long time, as its not something she'll grow out of length wise.

Chicago

A bit over a week ago we went to downtown Chicago.

Unlike the first time she was there are two weeks when she slept the entire time we were there, she was very awake and very interested in all of the new sights and sounds.

Got to take some pictures of us together. It was very nice weather so she didn't have to be bundled up in blankets.

Here is a really cute one that Gabriella took of the both of us.

Sunning

There are going to be a lot of post within the next week as I do catch up of everything we have been up to.

Here is the first time that Giselle and I spent time outside in the backyard of our new house.

It takes her a little while to get used to the bright lights outside, but she really likes it.

Thankfully it is not that cold anymore so she doesn't have to be in an Eskimo suit everytime I take her outside.

Godparents Visit

Giselle's godparents came for a visit, it was nice for them to be able to meet their godchild. And for me to visit with my youngest. Sadly, we forgot to take pictures with them together, so next time, and make it soon.

Put me to sleep little angel

Starting from when she was a wee young sapling, I started to put her to sleep by covering her face with my hand, now she is addicted and can go to sleep in less than two minutes.

She normally grabs my hand or fingers to get me to stay there, and if I move then before she is asleep she gets very sensitive about it and screams at me.

Now she has learned that she can have the same affect on herself. As long as she is not too tired and she is in a comfortable place she can put herself to sleep.

Three months

Monday, May 25th she turned three months old.

At three months she is in the 25 percentile for her length and weight.

Uncle Mike stayed with us for a week and a half, coming over from Seattle to meet his newest little niece.

After I chose to post this picture, I noticed that she is doing the same thing with her fingers as her uncle. Too cute!

Her new favorite hobby is to see how much of her fist she can fit in her mouth.

Month Date

The deliciousness of love is three months old today!

...and she is moving...

Our new house is west Chicago suburbs, a great place to learn to crawl, and a nice park just three blocks away.

Time to sleep

Ever since she was two weeks old, she has been sleeping in her bassinet. She has been sleeping through the night regularly since she was 3 weeks old. The longest she has slept without waking up is 12 1/2 hours. Since she turned a month and a half she has been sleeping nine to eleven hours a night.
I try to give her a schedule for bed time to get used to. She will start going down between eight and nine in the evening, after her last feeding, she gets all snuggled in one of her warm blankets in her bassinet with a pacifier, and she puts herself to sleep most of the time.

Two and a half months

Here are some of my favorite pictures that I took yesterday. She was in such a good mood, smiling so much that before I knew it I had taken so many pictures and it was hard to choose which ones to post. So here is a bunch, this first being my most favorite.

Monk

As you may have noticed I buzzed her head as the hair on the top was falling out and only the very back was staying long. Now it is all even and starting to grow out again after two weeks.
We did this little photo shoot as it was appropriate with her bald head.
She enjoys her photo shoots immensely, smiling the whole time.

10 weeks old

Uncle Sammy arrived here on the 21st, and just now took some pictures with his niece.

With new people she studies them, especially when they are talking.

She is starting to prefer being held up to look around rather than being cradled.

Two months old

On April 25th, Giselle turned two months.

Today at her doctors appointment she was weighed and measured as follows:
9 pounds, 5.5 ounzes
22 1/2 inches
