Was just able to upload some of the videos that we have of Giselle, granted she's still a newborn and is not that active, but she's cute and I'm sure some of you will enjoy her in action.

Here she is one week old. She woke up but found her fingers and put herself back to sleep.



Her first video. I was putting her to bed, but she was being all fussy. I put on a cartoon, so that the noise in the living room would be drowned out, I left the room for a moment to get her some clothes and when I came back, she was all quiet just watching the cartoon.



Sometimes, while she is still sleeping, she will cry out, but not wake up, but then be all calm again.

This is one of her favorite poses while sleeping.

One her last doctors visit she weighed 8 lbs,
and she measured 21 1/4 inches.
Growing more in length then in girth.

She's going to be a great model, she is already used to me taking pictures of her all the time.

She's even starting to look at the camera when the flash catches her attention.

Daddy always puts her in her swing which she loves. She also likes to watch the mobile spin above it.

Even during her wakeful periods, which are becoming more frequent, she is a very good, and calm for the most part.

She is already trying to lift her head to take a look around, and doing quite well for her age.

'Came upon a mid-night clear'

Today, the 17th of March, she, at three weeks of age, weighed 8 lbs, and measured 20 3/4 in.

I know its not Christmas, but by the time it is she'll be too big to fit into a stocking.

Thank you Nanny for coming and being with us through these past three weeks.
You will be terribly missed.
You also have to come back and visit whenever you have the time to get away.

Piercings

At two weeks, we bought some piercing earrings and a home piercing kit to give our princess some bling.

Her earrings are star studs, matching her cousin Pamela.
Mommy did the honors, and my brave little lamb only let out a couple little cries, mostly from the sound of the piercing gun right next to her head.

Shes just the cutest thing. Before yawning she purses her lips up so tiny, also just like Pamela.

Alone together for the first time. She spent most of the day sleeping.

In the sunlight, her highlights shine a reddish blond.

She's amazing, really.

First Relative

Danny McGraw is the first blood relative to meet Giselle.
He came home Thursday, March 5th and got to meet our precious lamb.

My First Photographic Moment

Labor Day

Started labor at 1:00 am on the 24th of February.
Juliet had just arrived to attend at the birth a short 11 hours previous.
Left for the hospital at 4:00 pm.
Thanks to the support of Andrew & Juliet and care of the head nurse, Jackie, I gave birth to our little girl in the wee hours of the morning on the 25th.
Laboring 27 hours is worth it after all.
